[ Please you will need your bible to follow along, you have to read the scriptures.]

(2 Tim 2:15 KJV)  Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

[  ] this braket represents my understanding [ ]

(  )  parentheses the scriptures

(John 4:21 KJV)  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

[ The word Worship is the key in this verse the greek meaning of this word is # G4352. proskuneo, pros-koo-neh'-o; from G4314 and a prob. der. of G2965 (mean. to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand); to fawn or crouch to, i.e. (lit. or fig.) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore):--worship.]

(John 4:22 KJV)  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

[As we read this verse we see the power and authority, the Lord used to tell the woman. She does not know what she worships. The  interpretation and challenge the Lord made to the women is salvation is of  the Jews . We forget the Lord called  Abram and made a promise to him about the salvation of the world Gen 12 : 3 . The Jewish people was the blood line the Lord used to bring salvation to the world.]

(John 4:23 KJV)  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

[The Lord said to the women now  salvation is come. This salvation is the relationship of man with Father God. Through the laying down of our ways(lives) and following Him. In the fashion that He is all that matters. Please read again the definition of worship.]

(John 4:24 KJV)  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

[Do we understand the word Spirit?. The Greek definition is] #G 4151. pneuma, pnyoo'-mah; from G4154; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by anal. or fig. a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by impl.) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit:--ghost, life, spirit (-ual, -ually), mind. Comp. G5590.
G4154  pneo, pneh'-o; a prim. word; to breathe hard, i.e. breeze:--blow. Comp. G5594.

G5594 psucho, psoo'-kho; a prim. verb; to breathe (voluntarily but gently; thus differing on the one hand from G4154, which denotes prop. a forcible respiration; and on the other from the base of G109, which refers prop. to an inanimate breeze), i.e. (by impl. of reduction of temperature by evaporation) to chill (fig.):--wax cold.

G5590. psuche, psoo-khay'; from G5594; breath, i.e. (by impl.) spirit, abstr. or concr. (the animal sentient principle only; thus distinguished on the one hand from G4151, which is the rational and immortal soul; and on the other from G2222, which is mere vitality, even of plants: these terms thus exactly correspond respectively to the Heb. H5315, H7307 and H2416):--heart (+ -ily), life, mind, soul, + us, + you.

[After reading these definitions, we can still not comprehend what the Spirit is. The reason is we don't see a Spirit, but we can hear a spirit, the wind we can hear and does have a particular sound. This bring me to the point God is invisible and the only person that bears his image is the Lord Jesus Christ Col. 1: 15  and of course the believer Rom 8:29. ]

[God is every where Col. 1 : 17   (1 Cor 12:6 KJV)  (1 Cor 15:28 KJV) (Eph 1:23 KJV)  I hope dear Christian , you understand that what God want from us is to imitated his ways or better said to do his commandments ,statues and judgments.]

(John 4:25 KJV)  The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

[This woman demonstrated she has also knowledge about the Messias, the Christ and knew He will tell all things.]

(John 4:26 KJV)  Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

[This is revelation she saw the Light and understood and her life changed.]

[I always wonder what things He will tell us. The next verse is a good example of some of that truth and a simple manifestation of the Spirit of God]

(Mat 5:43 KJV)  Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

(Mat 5:44 KJV)  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

[My question is, are we doing what the Lord said for us to do?]

[That statement represents the Spirit of God and the Truth of Him. To do what he said no matter what the cost is to worship. As the next verse testified].

(Mat 5:45 KJV)  That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

[The next verses confirms this point about the Spirit of Truth]

(Luke 10:25 KJV)  And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

[The question is how can I live forever, the only one that can live forever is God ( God is a Spirit )]

(Luke 10:26 KJV)  He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

(Luke 10:27 KJV)  And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

(Luke 10:28 KJV)  And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

(Mat 22:36 KJV)  Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

(Mat 22:37 KJV)  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

(Mat 22:38 KJV)  This is the first and great commandment.

(Mat 22:39 KJV)  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

(Mat 22:40 KJV)  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

[Beloved do you see what is the reality of God.]

(John 3:16 KJV)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

[The Life that Father offered is eternal and is Spiritual]

(John 3:17 KJV)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

(John 3:18 KJV)  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(John 3:19 KJV)  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

[The Word of God ( LOVE ) is come in to the world, and was manifested in the Lord Jesus Christ]

(John 1:14 KJV)  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

[See for what purpose the Lord Jesus came into the world uniting us to God the Father, the way he did it was by laying down his life].

(John 10:17 KJV)  Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

(John 10:18 KJV)  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

(John 15:13 KJV)  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

(John 15:14 KJV)  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

(John 15:15 KJV)  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

[I believed  the Lord has shown  us,  how to lay down our lives to manifest the Father, The Spirit the Truth, to worship by sacrificing oneself for the bretheren.]

[The book of Corinthians chapter 13 is a clear example what LOVE Is and  is Not.]

(1 Cor 13:1 KJV)  Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

(1 Cor 13:2 KJV)  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

(1 Cor 13:3 KJV)  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

(1 Cor 13:4 KJV)  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

(1 Cor 13:5 KJV)  Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,thinketh no evil;

(1 Cor 13:6 KJV)  Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

(1 Cor 13:7 KJV)  Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

(1 Cor 13:8 KJV)  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

(1 Cor 13:9 KJV)  For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

(1 Cor 13:10 KJV)  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

[My Beloved Christian friends, the truth is, the perfect one has come. His name is Love, The Word , The Son of God, The Faithful One,  Savior, and Wonderful Counselor. The Question is, has He come into your life? Are you worshiping in Spirit and in Truth? ]

(1 Cor 13:11 KJV)  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

(1 Cor 13:12 KJV)  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

(1 Cor 13:13 KJV)  And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

(1 Cor 14:1 KJV)  Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

[The Apostle John, talked to us in 1 John 4:1 about trying the spirits? Can you see now that the only way to test the spirits is through Love and that Love is the Love of God ( NOT CARNAL  Love.)]

(1 John 3:24 KJV)  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

(1 John 4:1 KJV)  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

[ This statment was made also by the Lord Jesus when the disciples asked him about the sign of his the book of Matthew.]

(Mat 24:3 KJV)  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

(Mat 24:4 KJV)  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

(Mat 24:5 KJV)  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

[ I see how in the name of christianity many are deceived, I  can read that sentence like this I am a Christian; and shall deceive many  Have we not heard similar attributes to christianity,  we have not seen the christianity or True of God.]

(1 John 4:2 KJV)  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

[Look at the word confesseth it is more than just say or speak. The Greek definition] # G3670. homologeo, hom-ol-og-eh'-o; from a comp. of the base of G3674 and G3056; to assent, i.e. covenant, acknowledge:--con- (pro-) fess, confession is made, give thanks, promise.

[That word speak of covenant , meanig is a pact one person now living and that is Christ.

(Gal 2:20 KJV)  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

[We know it was Love who came in the flesh, the Word of God , The Love of God was manifested in His Word. ]

(1 John 4:3 KJV)  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

[If we look around us we should see the love of God , when we talk to other Christian we should see and hear the Love of God not in word only but in deed. (actions speak louder than word) look at the Book of James]

(James 1:21 KJV)  Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

(James 1:22 KJV)  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

(James 1:23 KJV)  For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

(James 1:24 KJV)  For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

(James 1:25 KJV)  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

(1 John 4:4 KJV)  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

(1 John 4:5 KJV)  They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

(1 John 4:6 KJV)  We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

(1 John 4:7 KJV)  Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

(1 John 4:8 KJV)  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

(1 John 4:9 KJV)  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

(1 John 4:10 KJV)  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

(1 John 4:11 KJV)  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

(1 John 4:12 KJV)  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

(1 John 4:13 KJV)  Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

(1 John 4:14 KJV)  And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

(1 John 4:15 KJV)  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

(1 John 4:16 KJV)  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

I pray the true understanding of the word  of God be revealed to you, and your life be change in to his image. Worship Him is Spirit and True.
